1-1 1/2 cups chopped candy bars ( this time I used Reeses peanut Butter Cups, Hershey’s Cookies and Cream and slived almonds..it’s really all up to your imagination )
2-4 tablespoons Magic Shell Chocolate Sauce
1 1/2 cups cool whip
Place ice cream in a bowl and let soften for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once ice cream is the consistency of soft serve, stir in candy pieces.Spoon ice cream into crust, smoothing it to the edges. Place pie in freezer for 30 minutes.
After the 30 minutes you can spread the top with the cool whip or you can choose to serve it with a dolip ….which is how I did it this time. So, that being said…. I added the magic shell to the top of the ice cream and I put it back in the freezer until I was ready yo serve. Heat a knife under hot water before cutting, it helps it along. You can also allow the pie to sit for 10 minutes at room temp before cutting..
I serve with sprinkles, cause life is too short to not have sprinkles
