Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

This was a hit, like really… MMmmMmm’s during the entire meal. That makes a mama proud !

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb ground beef

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons pepper

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

3/4 cup ketchup

1/2 cup diced dill pickles

1 medium onion diced small

1 cup plain bread crumbs

2 eggs

1/2 lb sliced bacon

2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

4 slices of Kraft™ American singles

 

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Place a piece of parchment on a cookie sheet. 
  2. In large bowl, add 1 1/2 lb ground beef… 1 1/2 teaspoons salt… 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper…2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce…1/4 cup ketchup…1/2 cup diced dill pickles, 1 cup plain bread crumbs, and 2 eggs; use your hands to mix ingredients together. 
  3.  Place half of the meatloaf mixture in bottom of loaf pan; sprinkle with 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese  and then place the rest of the meatloaf mixture on top and form into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the cheese slices on top of the meat loaf then cover it with strips of bacon, make sure to tuck them under the loaf.
  5. Bake about 1 hour, the bacon will start to pull away and the cheese will be gooey on top. that is  ok! 
  6.  Mix 1/2 cup ketchup and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce; pour on top of meatloaf while it is still hot. 
  7. cool for five to ten minutes before serving.
