I’m not sure if I can call this a recipe. I know I say that a lot, but I’m serious. It’s so quick and easy and it is without a doubt my favorite way to eat pasta. It’s finished in less than 15 minutes. I made a big bowl and sat out on porch..it’ doesn’t get better than that.
12 oz Barilla® Spaghetti ( cooked per package directions)
4 cups tomato sauce ( not pre-seasoned spaghetti sauce, just plain tomato)
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. jarred pesto ( or homemade)
salt and pepper to taste.
in a sauce pot add the sauce, garlic, pesto, and sugar. heat to warm and add to the pasta that you have drained… stir well.
salt a pepper to taste.
I add basil, but you can add cheese if you desire…. done!
