Coney Island Chili Dog Sauce

coney

Chili dogs are yet another weakness for me. I don’t eat then often, but when I do I make this Coney Island Chili Sauce. It is so easy and it beats the can stuff by leaps and bounds.

Try it once, and you will never buy it again!

Here is my quick and easy recipe … and if you can cook it the day before, keep it in the fridge and wow your neighbors.. it’s always better the second day!

1 pound lean ground beef

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon cumin

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1/4 cup beef broth or water

 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 can tomato SAUCE

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 small yellow onion grated

Brown the ground beef, chopping fine as you go, for about 6 minutes on high.

add all of the ingredients and remember NOT to drain off the fat, its just part of the experience.

Stir well and reduce heat to low and cook for one hour.

It is better if you cook it the day before…… enjoy
