Chocolate Christmas Bark

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way, oh what fun, OH! Hey, sorry, I have had this song in my head for at least a month… okay, maybe two… confessions…

Christmas Candies are new to me, I have only been making them for about four years or so… but the question is… why did I not make then sooner!? They are fun and simple to make and they taste incredible! This bark appears to be complex, but it certainly isn’t. AS a matter if fact, it may be too easy… is there such a thing? YUP! I am gonna show you the TWO that  made last night….and remember, you can always change it up and make it your own…. I will make a list at the bottom to give you ideas…

White Bark

You will need:

1-2 bags white chocolate chips ( I only had one, so I only used one… makes sense huh)

NOTE: One bag does make the bark a bit thinner, so I do recommend using two )

salted peanuts ( I don’t chop them, I like the halved, but you can chop away if you wanna)

Christmas Pretzels ( I got mine at the dollar store, it’s how I roll)

Red and Green M&Ms® ( as many as you want)

Sweetened Coconut ( about a 1/4 cup OR more to taste)

Christmas Sprinkles

Parchment Paper

Here we goooooo…….

Using the double boiler method, add the chips to a bowl and slowly melt them down. Make sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl, as it can cause it to melt too quickly and  changes the flavor.

Ain’t it pretty!!!

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and quickly pour the chocolate onto the pan…

Add the toppings quickly to the top, in any design you want… remember you will be cutting the bark up after it cools..

Place in the fridge and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes… I normally wait about an hour or so…

Remove from the fridge and chop into desired hunks… the bag it for gifts or just put it on the table for your family! SOOoooo yummy!

The Milk Chocolate!

You will need:

2 bags of milk chocolate chips

1 cup salted cashews chopped

Christmas Pretzels  chopped

2 Chopped Toffee Candy Bars ( I use Heath®) chopped

Christmas Sprinkles

Now, to save time and to just keep it real, do exactly the same thing for the milk chocolate as I stated for the white… see real.

I love the Chocolate the bestest.

Here are a few add in’s and changes that you can make.. all equally good!!
