Vanilla Snow Cream

Today we had the first and possibly the only SnOw DaY on the North Carolina Coast for 2018! There is an old wives tale, you can’t eat the first snow, well I am a rebel… and since there is a good chance that we will not get any more of the white stuff…. I figured I better get it while the get’n was good!

Here is a quick, super easy and highly tasty recipe for you next day of powder!

You will need

About a gallon to a gallon and a half of fresh snow ( avoid the yellow, yeah I went there)

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 tub thawed cool whip® ( yup, the whole tub)

1/4 cup cold half and half

In a large bowl…add the snow, canned milk, vanilla, and half and half. With a fork mash and mix until well combined and at a creamy consistency. Be sure to work rather fast, snow melts…. just sayin’

When you complete this step, gently fold in the Cool Whip®

Store in an air tight container in the freezer and enjoy for up to 2 months.
